UK King’s Daughters, a 465-bed regional healthcare system serving Kentucky and Ohio, is offering outstanding opportunities for board eligible/certified gastroenterologists.

Incoming physicians will earn $700,000 salary guarantees, productivity bonuses and quality/customer incentives (income potential. We also provide excellent benefits, paid malpractice, and a flexible work schedule that includes seven weeks off and manageable call.

Our collegial practice features seven gastroenterologists,supported by a team of experienced advanced providers. King’s Daughters serves a growing patient population of 750,000 in eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio. With a vast network of primary care providers, and referrals from 20 area hospitals, our gastroenterologists enjoy a vibrant practice.

Other program highlights:

Our GI physicians perform colonoscopy, EGD, EUS and ERCP (diagnostic and interventional), endoscopic resection, balloon enteroscopy, esophageal ablation and capsule endoscopy.
Two opportunities: the Kentucky position features manageable call (1:7), while the Ohio position has an option for NO call.
Surging referrals have advanced the construction of a new stand-alone endoscopy facility on our Kentucky campus.
King’s Daughters is powered by the EPIC electronic medical records system.

The practice locations include Ashland, Kentucky; and Portsmouth Ohio. Both are safe, family-friendly communities with great schools, affordable living and excellent local shopping and dining. Ashland and Portsmouth also feature local access to beautiful state and national parks and a variety of outdoor pursuits (hiking, skiing, whitewater rafting, golf, tennis, cave exploration, hunting and fishing). Both communities also are reasonable drives to Cincinnati and Columbus, Ohio; andLexington, Kentucky.
