UK King’s Daughters, a 465-bed regional healthcare system serving Kentucky and Ohio, is offering an outstanding opportunity for a board eligible/certified neurologist.

The Incoming physician will earn generous salary guarantees, productivity bonuses and quality/customer incentives (income potential $350k to $500k+). We also provide excellent benefits, paid malpractice, and a flexible work schedule that includes seven weeks off and manageable call.

Our collegial practice features five neurologists with fellowship training in a variety of disciplines including epileptology, vascular, neuromuscular and headache. We are seeking to recruit additional general or subspecialty neurologists. Our program also features excellent support from an experienced team of advanced providers, and we recently welcomed a neuropsychologist.

King’s Daughters serves a growing patient population of 750,000 in eastern Kentucky and southern Ohio. With a vast network of primary care providers, and referrals from 20 area hospitals, our neurologists enjoy a vibrant practice.

Other program highlights:

Our NEURO physicians perform EEG, ambulatory EEG, V-EEG, and NCV/EMG (with assistance from experienced neurodiagnostic techs).
A certified Primary Stroke Center since 2010, King’s Daughters offers exceptional care, including thrombolytics and mechanical thrombectomy. 
Our award-winning program also recently earned theAHA/ASA Get with the Guidelines Stroke Gold Plus Quality Award, with Target: Stroke Honor Roll Elite Plus and Target: Diabetes Honor Roll.
This is an outpatient clinic position that involves infrequent inpatient call and NO after-hours call (teleneuro after 5 pm).

The practice location, Ashland, Kentucky, is a safe, family-friendly community with great schools, affordable living and excellent local shopping and dining. Ashland also featuresaccess to beautiful state and national parks and a variety of outdoor pursuits (hiking, skiing, whitewater rafting, golf, tennis, cave exploration, hunting and fishing). Ashland also is a reasonable drive to Cincinnati and Columbus Ohio; and Lexington, Kentucky.
