UK King’s Daughters is a 465-bed regional referral center in Ashland, Kentucky. We are part of the University of Kentucky Health system. We operate 40+ primary care clinics in outlying areas of Kentucky and Ohio which refer patients from a catchment area of about 750,000 people to our main campus for testing and treatment. This year, we have begun a large construction project on campus, which will provide us with a brand-new ER and all new Imaging Department. Our Emergency Department sees nearly 70,000 patients per year. We offer nearly all medical specialties at our facility, except pediatric subspecialties. Three years ago, a nearby hospital in the community was closed, and since that time, our facility has experienced tremendous growth in patient volumes, as most of the physicians from the closed hospital joined our medical staff.

We have an opening for a full-time Sleep Medicine position. We require a fellowship in Sleep Medicine and Sleep Medicine board certification or eligibility. The incoming Sleep Medicine physician will be an employee of the medical center and will receive a salary guarantee between $300K and $330K and wRVU productivity compensation. The incoming physician will also earn excellent benefits (health, vision, dental, life, retirement), 6 weeks of vacation, and an additional week for CME. A signing bonus and student loan repayment are available as well.
