Assistant, Associate or Professor of Pediatrics
The Assistant Professor of Pediatrics will serve as a member of the UK Hospital Pediatrics Division, Department of Pediatrics. The primary role of this faculty member will be to provide inpatient care for hospitalized children in the Medical Center at Bowling Green. In addition, the faculty member will provide consultative services to patients in the Emergency Department in the Medical Center at Bowling Green.
While this is an academic position, your role (among other benefits) would be more aligned with that of a hospital-employed provider. The Assistant Professor of Pediatrics will serve as a member of the UK Hospital Pediatrics Division, Department of Pediatrics. The primary role of this faculty member will be to provide inpatient care for hospitalized children in the Medical Center at Bowling Green. In addition, the faculty member will provide consultative services to patients in the Emergency Department in the Medical Center at Bowling Green. No delivery requirements. We do have residency programs as well as a med school down there so there would likely be teaching opportunities if you so wished. For those not familiar, Bowling Green is a short distance away (45 mins) from Nashville, TN and a D1 college town full of life.
